A Journey Begins with a Hello… from Da Nang!
Ever felt like discovering a destination so charming, it captures your heart at first sight? Well, that’s exactly what happened recently in Da Nang, Vietnam. From August 18–22, 2025, the Da Nang Center for Tourism Promotion teamed up with Cebu Pacific to host an unforgettable famtrip. The itinerary? A whirlwind 5-day, 4-night exploration that brought together over 15 of the Philippines’ most influential KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders) and travel bloggers.
These aren’t just any content creators — we’re talking about social media powerhouses like Koji Arsua from When in Manila, Crystha Shayne (aka Hello Shayne), the fun duo Alvin & Ms. Monica from The Cenzons, Melo Villareal of Out of Town Travel Blog, and the vibrant Reylyn Ann Remegio (Travelokaloka Girl), among others. Their mission: to experience the real Da Nang and share it with the world.
“New Da Nang – New Experiences”: More Than Just a Slogan
The famtrip was themed “New Da Nang – New Experiences” — and boy, did it deliver! From scenic coastlines to ancient spiritual havens, this city offered the dream Southeast Asian travel buffet in technicolor.

- 🏛 Cultural immersion at the Cham Sculpture Museum and the historic Marble Mountains
- 🧡 Heritage strolls through Hoi An Ancient Town and the spiritual vibes of My Son Sanctuary
And that’s just the appetizer.
For a more immersive and eco-conscious flavor, the group also experienced:
- 🚣♂️ Coconut boat tours through the lush Bay Mau nipa forest
- 🏺 Hands-on moments at Thanh Ha Pottery Village
- 🌱 Farm-to-table lifestyles at Tra Que Vegetable Village
It’s not just about pretty pictures here — it’s about storytelling through authentic connections with local culture and sustainable tourism practices.
