From the moment Da Nang won the bid to host VIMC 2025, the city’s leadership hit the ground running. With the Vice Chairwoman of the People’s Committee, Nguyễn Thị Anh Thi, leading the charge, preparation became a city-wide mission.
Breaking It Down:
- ✅ A central Steering Committee was established to oversee all operations.
- ✅ A dedicated Organizing Committee plus seven subcommittees manage everything—from facilities and communications to logistics and hospitality.
- ✅ VKU is fully decked out with:
- 110 dorm rooms for students and teachers.
- 12 official exam rooms plus backups.
- Working areas for exam boards and graders.
- A well-trained team of 80 volunteers prepped in customer service and basic English.
- 26 experienced proctors and 10 secretaries fluent in English, ready for the challenge.
